Barentz Welcomes Christopher Lyon, Ph.D., as Business Development Manager - Lubricants

Avon, OH. April 15, 2025 - Barentz, a leading global specialty ingredients solution provider, appoints Christopher Lyon as Business Development Manager – Lubricants, North America team. Christopher will be working in close collaboration with Barentz’s cross-functional teams and principal partners to grow the company business and broaden its ability to provide value to customers. With over a decade of experience in the industrial chemicals, his expertise will play a key role in supporting Barentz’s continued commitment to innovation, performance, and customer success in the specialty lubricants space.
Christopher began his industry career as a research scientist before transitioning to the commercial team in various business development roles, where he focused on industrial & consumer markets including lubricants, biofuels, HI&I, and agriculture. He has a strong background in building relationships with global principal partners, leading research projects, and driving commercial growth.
